Best tacos on the face of the earth! Bar NONE!

The best mexican food by far in Omaha! Although you have to pay for chips and salsa the chips are to die for! Especially the flour ones which the very friendly waitress explained to us that they are made there fresh at the restaurant daily. The salsa was pico style which was delicious! I would rather pay for quality food rather than get chips out of a bag and salsa out of a jar which is what you get free at other mexican restaurants. The beef chim was also very good!! The margaritas were a little strong for me ( I‘m a light weight) But my husband said it was the best he ever had. They call them REAL margaritas. I can see why. They don‘t taste like kool-aid. You know that theres tequila in it!! Food, drinks and service is always outstanding!!

love this place!!!! always good food and service... i dont think half you people know what good tex-mex food is if it hit ya in the face... this is the best and the margarita‘s are out of this world... ad the atmosphere and it‘s #1....

Okay I‘ve never been to a "Mexican" restaurant that you had to buy your chips and salsa, for the reason being, "our salsa is pico de gallo and tomatoes and onions are expensive". They don‘t do separate checks. So the waitress did split it for us but added the tip into the check and didn‘t tell us, so we gave her a tip. She made a $15 dollar tip on a total check of $45 dollars. And the food is not all that great. La Mesa is DEFINITELY better!

Some of the best Mexican food I‘ve had since moving to Omaha 2 years ago. The homemade chips were awesome, and my food was very tasty!

This place is the furthest thing from a Mexican Restaurant. In fact, the only thing "Mexican" about it was some of the kitchen help. The food was a big disappointment and the price was very high, which is just the opposite of real Mexican food. In all fairness, the service and atmosphere were good, and the portions were ok. But the food was certainly not Mexican. (They didnt even have Cilantro available) How do you create Mexican food without cilantro? And never before have I see salsa so watery you serve if from a plastic squeexe bottle. That tasted like glorified tomato juice. The chile con queso was nothing more than cheeze whiz with chopped tomatoes. I‘d never go back. Adios Michaels...................

It was a fun environment, good drinks, friendly bar....but a far cry from good Mexican food!. Fake, bagged, chips served cold, poor salsa, and fake (store bought) taco shells...UCK, for the price, it was expensive and disappointing...Would not go back, unless it was only for drinks!

Highly recommend this place....could eat there at least once a week!!!!
