Big Horn Mountain BBQ

The food was cold and the place is durty save your money.

This is one great BBQ joint! Wife and I ate there last night. Compares to Authur Byants in
KC or Hickory Park in Ames. Owner and staff were terrific. Felt like being home. BBQ sauce enhances the flavor and aroma of meat. Sides homemade, try the beans and slaw, delicious! Humongous, tasty hot wings. Prices are great for these times. Owner gets it. Checked DC Health Dept. rating - Excellent. Dave‘s gets a standard. I‘ll take the unique locally owned, outstanding establishment, over the high priced corporate dive anytime.

Not the best BBQ in Omaha. We have a lot of great places to get BBQ in Omaha and the surrounding areas. Please don‘t waist your time on Big Horn Mt. The restaurant is dirty, the food is just okay, and the service isn‘t great. It isn‘t the worst place to eat in Omaha, but just not worth the trip.

Was shorted a meal and promised a coupon...11 days later when calling them, was treated rudely, and obnoxiously by the owner, ( whos wife apologized 10 minutes earliear and was sending the coupon ), and then he hung up.

Foods not worth being treated like that...All this over an $8 dollar sandwich THEY FORGOT ???

Maybe the owner should spend more time in the kitchen TAKING CARE OF HIS CUSTOMERS...And less time @ the bar, watching them???

My wife and I never walked out of there without spending @ least $50... I hope that $8 sandwich was worth losing Loyal Customers???

My money will go to Famous Dave‘s All the time now ! Not only is the food better, but the professionalism is 10-fold !

P.S. I Have NEVER seen a Manager from Famous Daves relaxing @ the bar...JFYI !!!

We ate here on a Saturday night when they had the burnt end special. It was great!! It is your typical BBQ atmosphere.
