Rednecks

I am a tattoo shop owner in omaha and very much look that way. Despite my appearance I have been welcomed by the crowd. They have great classes every wed for beginners. they have average priced drinks. Me and my wife are there at least once a week if not more and I was a G&C person growing up and it has the same feel as G&C when it was a great country bar before the hip-hop.

If your just going to country dance you will do fine, but the drinks are overpriced & weak....Staff seemed very nice.

03/06/2010 - Complaints are coming in about the G & C Reunion and I agree.......... amazing wonderful crowd last night and the slide show was wonderful but they should have had the Reunion at Bushwackers. The seating, the restrooms, the acoustics, the bar service, the small dance floor, nothing was adequate for this type of powerful gathering !

So what started off as a country bar has now become a "dance club" This place is horrible. They can‘t seem to decide what they are doing for music. One day it‘s country the next it‘s all request music. High priced drinks. Staff are jerks. It‘s dirty. Their "manager" Heidi is a complete bitch and has no clue what is going on. My advice after being a regular here for 5 yrs, FIND SOME WHERE ELSE TO GO>>>>> This place will go down in history just like Guitars & Cadillacs did. RIP REDNECKS

I couldn‘t agree more!! Great place! see for yourself, it‘s the ONLY country bar worth going to! I had my birthday party there last Friday and it was a Blast!! Music, service, drinks, dancing, staff, and location! LOVIN IT!!

Funny how it‘s packed every weekend...and you never wait for a drink! The girl behind the bar remembers everyones drink if you order once!! Customer service is outstanding! I wonder sometimes if this is people who own competition who post on these things, I go at least once a week and it‘s always busy and the place is great!! Makes ya think??? Try it for yourself...proof is in the poodin!

This place is a crap hole. Poor or no service. How does this place stay in business? Been there once and never going back.

Horrible customer service! Super slow bartenders and waitress! The manager is an old bag who is a complete whore! Bouncers are a buch of d-bags!! Pretty shitty place all in all

This bar sucks. They closed on New Years Day 2010, forcing patrons to choose from the other crappy country bars. We will never go there again. It is dirty and the staff sucks. They are lazy and rude also. Can‘t wait till that other country bar opens up. Until then I will drive to Lincoln.

What are you talking about? Old Rednecks is back???? This place sucks. It has gone down hill. It‘s dirty, the staff will ignore you if they are talking so you wait for a drink. The sound system SUCKS. The dance floor is nasty. They don‘t take care of nothing. Hell there is hardly any body ever there. Oh wait this must be a employee trying to boost business. Omaha‘s hottest country bar..... NO WAY. Give up. Rednecks is not the place to be. But then again there isn‘t any true country bar open yet in Omaha. Can‘t wait tlll the NEW one opens. At least I know they will take care of things like cleanliness, sound system, and MOST OF ALL THEIR CUSTOMER. Don‘t waste your time at Rednecks it ain‘t even a hick bar.....

Went last night. HORRIBLE BAND. Drinks are HIGH priced. Staff are jerks. Stood at bar for over 10 minutes while bartenders talked. No one else standing there. Like they didn‘t care. Place was dirty. I stuck to floor, and dance floor was HORRIBLE. I don‘t know where these other people are going and saying it is such a great bar, definitely not here. I have been to allot of country bars all over and this ranks with the worst.

Holy crap, had a blast this weekend! Great Bull Riding, Great party at REDNECKS as usual!!! I Love this BAR..It‘s my kinda place!!

Wow, its like a war zone on here. I don‘t live here, but I was here this weekend for the Bull Riding. When I left I asked people where to go and they suggested Rednecks. So...we went, I loved it. I wish we had a bar like this back home!! We will be back next year, thanks for the great time!!!

This place sucks. Owners have NO idea how to run a GOOD bar. They had good employee‘s but ran them off. Won‘t go back there again. Come on something new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don‘t waste your money on this place. Better to stay at home than go here. And Thursdays are bad. Dont let NO ONE kid you. "DJ CHAD" is horrible.

I went here with a group of friends last Thursday for college night..super cheap drinks, good music for the most part. We had a good time

I agree!!! We went on Friday and Chad Lee was playing it was fantastic! We are hoping to go Thursday, they had posters up all over the bar and the drink specials were AWESOME! Anyways...I thought it was fun, I haven‘t been there for a while but we had a really good time too...see you this week!!

I don‘t know where these people are going but its not Rednecks. A big group of us went for the first time last Thursday and it was a BLAST!!! They had a ton of drinks for $2.00 and then they had sirens that went off every hour and gave away $3.00 cherry or grape bombs. They played every kind of dance music and gave away free concert tickets!! We had a blast and i loved it...we will be back, FOR SURE...oh, and the staff...was awesome at least when we were there!!!

Horrible place. This is the worst country bar I have ever been to. Drinks are HIGH priced, staff is stuck up, Fri. night DJ sucks. NO drink Specials even though they advertise them. Don‘t waste your time in this shit hole. Was here almost a year ago and it rocked, don‘t know what happened but it is dirty and sucks.

Went there for the first time a couple Saturdays ago and had a fun time! The drinks were good and the DJ was having as much fun as we were! I‘m not even a huge country fan, but I‘ll definitely be back!

Went to Rednecks last friday night. Horrible DJ. Worse than normal Friday DJ. Were is Brian at? Drinks are too high priced. Some female employees are stuck up. (bartenders) Rednecks did use to be the place to go. It was the hottest now its getting to be the coldest. Not sure whoever the owner is knows how to operate a bar. Something has changed in the past year. Only good Dj they have is Dave. They keep running off their good employees who cared about us customers. Only good thing is Brandon is gone now!!!! Same old bands,drink specials and everything else. They should try to change some things up. If you have a choice go somewhere else.

This bar rally has gone down hill. It used to be fun now it is horrible. They have no idea what to do. Management is not management. They won‘t solve or try to solve any complaints. She has no idea how to run a dance club. We want the old REDNECKS back. Bring back the good staff you ran off. Get a new manager, then maybe you‘ll survive. But until then we are going other places. REDNECKS needs to close the doors.

very unfriendly staff and service. bouncers have egos bigger than they are them selfs and one was pretty big! drinks sucks and you don‘t get what you pay for. a very unwelcoming place. unless your ready to go back to high school then don‘t go here!!

I love this bar, its not a regular Country bar, it has everything you could want in a bar. Dancing, great Drink specials a fantastic staff!! Great place to go...guaranteed good time!!

Rednecks is a fantastic bar..Dancing, great drink specials, line dance lessons and they play all kinds of music. This is a country bar that welcomes everyone. I heard that on Thursdays they are offering $2.00 drinks and you get to pick the music to dance to!! This city needs a place like this. We haven‘t seen a bar this fun since Guitars and Cadillacs!! I Love this place.

This was an EXCELLENT place to go for a fun time! They played lots of line dances, two-steps, cha-chas. Took special requests and played everything we asked for. They mixed it up just for a couple of songs...and yet all us of country dancers were still out there havin‘ fun! Check it out!

This is a great Country bar, lots of couple dancing & line dancing. I had a wonder time just watching all the good dancers! Wear your cowboy hat & boots if you have them or whatever is comfortable.

I give Rednecks 5 stars! I had a blast last Saturday Nite. Lots of Country couple & line dancing. Lots of good swing dancers too. I had fun just watching all the good dancers. And most importantly, It‘s all SMOKE-FREE now! *****5 STARS *****

Rednecks is great, they play two-steps filled in with a few line dances and a waltz or two. Free dance lessons and lots of great company. I go and dance all night...two stepping and line dancing as well as waltzing and cha-chad ing.....it‘s fun and great drink specials....

If line dancing is your thing, then this is the bar for you. My wife and I are from Texas and feels that a country bar should be more about two-stepping and waltzing than line-dancing and cha-chaing. In a given hour, they might play two two-stepping songs. The rest are line dances and cowboy cha-chas. The drive to Uncle Rons in Lincoln is worth it for us to be able to two step. After all, that is why people go to country bars.

They need to play strictly country music to weed out some of the people who go there. There might be alot of people there, however Bushwackers is still the WAY cooler bar on the inside. We just need to figure out how to get the country crowd back to Bushwackers. It‘s nice to go to Rednecks to listen to DJ music though, instead of live bands all the time. There‘s a lot of people there with little morals though.....I suppose I‘ve heard though that it‘s the same crowd of people who used to hang at Guitars. Anyway, this bar will do until the next big country bar comes around, but Bushwackers STILL rocks!!

I love this bar! It is so much fun and they give free lessons Wed, Fri, and Sat! On the weekends they play some other songs than just country so even your friends that don‘t like country can enjoy it.

Love this place...it reminds me of the old days at bushwackers when it first opened...years ago.

Absolutely love it! I like how they incorporate the modern line dances as well! Great atmosphere, laid back... everyone talks to everyone-kinda like a small town ;)

Rednecks is far better than the stuck up atmosphere at Bushwackers. The bad part is too much line dancing and not enough two stepping! Best bar in Omaha, though.

This bar is ok. It DOES NOT beat Bushwackers for a dance floor or for sticking to country all the time. It‘s supposed to be country, but playing some of that music that they play just brings out freaky people and then those freaky people do freaky things that most people don‘t appreciate watching, but oh well. It a different place to hang out.....but Bushwackers is still the best in country bars in Omaha.

I enjoy coming here so much, that I now work here! Hope to see you there, cause you‘ll love it too.

A great place to go out and dance. My girlfriend comes up from Louisiana and she loves the colorado bulldogs she says they are the best she has had.

For anyone looking for a good time with great dancing, and fun people this is the place to hang out, and its people of all ages. Had a great time.
