Bar

The Marquee is an upscale bar in west Omaha, its very new and clean, but much smaller than you would expect. The bar was large, but accounted for half of the place. The rest contained semi-private elevated booths with black couches. There were many flat panel tvs and large mirrors covering the walls, but the most noticeable feature was the ambient light radiating from every part of the bar. The panels behind the bar as well as under the bar, and along the walls of the booths continuously changed colors giving the place an upscale feel. The high-backed stools at the bar are also helpful during marathon drinking sessions.

Sounds like a bunch of whiny bitches that didn‘t get hired because they‘re too ugly. It‘s a fun bar...check it out...you won‘t regret it.

Sounds to me like this place has some new owners... This use to be my number one choice of bars to go to every night a couple years ago. The service was awesome the bartenders made customers feel like they‘d known you for years and so did the waitresses. I‘m sorry to hear such bad reviews on this place because to me it was the one bar where you were treated like a friend and not an annoying needy customer.

This bar is anything but upscale. Major identity crisis. Sports on tv with hip hop playing??? Really. I think the owner needs to get out of Nebraska and see how true upscale clubs are run. Terrible DJ with poor song selection. Far to many creepers in bar. Nothing more than your average omaha bar trying to be something its not.

I was in there this last weekend. I saw a roach in the restroom and when I brought it up to the cocktail waitress she didn‘t want to even listen. When I then told the bartender (after 4 minutes of waiting for him to come to my side of the bar) he said it wasn‘t his problem. No "I‘m sorry we don‘t clean well", or "Can you show me so we can take care of it", nothing. So I left and will not be back. The lighting inside is good, but it‘s getting dirty and run-down. The windblocker at their front door is even ripped. Pretty shoddy.

my friend and I stopped in last night (wed). we stayed a total of 10 minutes before giving up and walking out. the cocktail server took our drink order from behind the bar, which was odd, and told us that she would give our drink order to the bartenders. she then proceeded to walk straight over to a guy sitting at the end of the bar and chat it up for the next 10 minutes, I guess she forgot she had just taken our drink order? so we sat there hoping in the meantime that one of the 3 bartenders working would acknowledge us. nothing so much as a "hello". not only that but the bartop was filthy and old drinks were strewn everywhere. I counted at least 5 people working and based on the business volume it was very disappointing and frustrating to sit at a filthy bar for 10 minutes and be completely ignored. the best part? this is the SECOND time this has happened to us at this bar. definitely NOT going back.
